Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and CPAP Stores ("we", "us"), which runs CPAPGeeks. By using CPAPGeeks, or by creating an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or over to create an account.
Not medical advice
CPAPGeeks shows the data your machine recorded. It isn't a medical device, and it doesn't diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. Don't change your therapy or your machine's settings because of something you see here without talking to your doctor or sleep clinician first. If you feel unwell, contact a medical professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Numbers such as events per hour are calculated or recorded by your machine and may differ from what a sleep study or your clinician reports. Articles, videos and community posts are general information, not advice about you.
What CPAPGeeks does
CPAPGeeks reads the SD card from supported CPAP and BiPAP machines and shows each night as charts and summaries. Machines marked Beta on the machines page have been tested on sample data but not yet on real cards from every model, so their results may contain mistakes. CPAPGeeks isn't made by or affiliated with any machine manufacturer, and machine names belong to their owners.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- One person per account. You may manage a family member's therapy data with their permission (or as their parent or guardian).
Your data
The data you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and process it only to provide CPAPGeeks to you, as the Privacy Policy describes. You can delete it at any time. Only upload data you have the right to use: your own, or someone else's with their permission.
Fair use
Please don't:
- try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around security;
- overload, attack, scrape or copy the service, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows;
- upload anything harmful (such as malware) or anything you don't have the right to share;
- use CPAPGeeks to break the law, or to give medical advice to others as if it came from us.
Free and paid plans
The free plan is free. When paid plans are available, the price, what's included and how billing and cancellation work will be shown before you pay, and those details form part of these terms. Paid features we haven't launched yet are marked as coming soon.
Accuracy and availability
We work hard to read every supported card correctly, but we can't promise CPAPGeeks will be error-free, always available, or that every card will open. We may change, add or remove features. If we ever plan to shut CPAPGeeks down, we'll give account holders reasonable notice so they can keep a copy of their data.
Our responsibility
CPAPGeeks is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for decisions made using information from CPAPGeeks, or for indirect or unforeseeable losses. If we are responsible for a loss, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it happened (or AED 100 if you use the free plan). Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that can't be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using CPAPGeeks and delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk; where reasonable we'll warn you first and give you a chance to keep a copy of your data.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. If there's a problem, please contact us first and we'll try to sort it out. If we can't, the courts of Dubai will decide, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes we'll tell account holders in advance by email or when they sign in. Questions: jmagz1313@gmail.com.
